Situated on the Southern Border of the Lesotho Mountain Kingdom lies one of the most spectacular unexplored valleys, Telle Falls. We ride over mountains, rivers, passes, farm and veld. Explore the majestic mountains and waterfalls without the inconvenience of fences. There is truly no better way to spend a day on a horse.

For all horse enthusiasts our trails are the perfect way to explore these vast and scenic mountains of both Lesotho and Southern Drakensberg. Whether a beginner or confident rider, the trail through the remote valley of telle falls is an experience of a lifetime.

Telle Falls Trails offers:

Unforgettable 2-day and 3-day packages are available, compromising of 6-7hours riding each day. All meals, horses and equipment are provided.

Made up weekend packages include 2-day 7hour rides with 3nights accommodation (2 B&B and 1 overnight camp). Riders will arrive on the Thursday where they will receive a hot meal and briefing for the following days ride before retiring to comfortable accommodation. Friday- riders will set off in the morning where they will ride to the campsite where hot showers, drinks and a braai await. Saturday- riders set off on their second route, return to another hot meal and comfortable accommodation. Sunday- all riders have a leisurely breakfast and depart in their own time.

Pre-determined dates are as follows:

• 2011 March 19-20.
• 2011 April 2-3 and 26-28.
• 2011 September 23-24.
• 2011 October 3-5.

(minimum of four riders per trip).

3-day rides with 4 nights accommodation (2 B&B and 2 overnight camping) are also available. Arrive Thurs for briefing and a hot meal before departing to their comfortable accommodation. Ride to camp site on Friday spending the night there.It’s much the same as above except riders get to spend Saturday riding and exploring the majestic Telle River Waterfall that separates the border between Lesotho and South Africa, return to campsite for the night. Sunday return trip riding via another scenic route and spending the night at previous B&B after a hearty meal. Monday- leisurely breakfast before departing back home. You ride for about 6hrs on Friday, 4hrs Saturday and 6hrs again on the Sunday
